Here’s the point:
“New” diets will be making clever marketers rich forever.
Before regulators starting putting a halt to certain methods of advertising, you would actually see stuff like the beginning of this email.
But there are still questionable programs out there.
So what IS the best diet?
It’s the one that works for YOU.
Keto worked for us. It’s big right now, and for good reason. An over-reliance on sugar has proven to be disastrous for a ton of people.
It wasn’t that long ago that fat was considered a “killer” and had to be avoided at all costs.
Luckily, today we know better.
But does that mean no one should have any carbs?
Again, there are WAY too many variables in each person’s metabolic equation to make any kind of blanket statement.
The moral of the story:
Discover the foods that work best for you. It may take a little trial and error.
And always take people’s — even “experts” — advice with a grain of salt.
But not too big a grain of salt…
…because sodium is bad 😉
