Instant Pot Keto Collagen Cheesecake!

If you don’t love a delicious bite of Cheescake then this recipe might not be for you. But since that’s probably only about %0.001 of the population we’d though we would share this delicious recipe for a Keto Collagen infused Cheescake made by one of our very own Ambassadors – Marisha Naragon

Ingredients:

For the Crust:
– 3/4 cup Blanched Almond Flour
– 3 Tbsp Salted Butter, melted
– 1 Heaping Tbsp Powdered Erythritol Sweetener

For the Cheesecake:
– 16oz Cream Cheese (softened)
– 2 scoops Organisource Keto Chocolate Collagen
– 2/3 cup Powdered Erythritol
– 2 large eggs (room temp)
– 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream (room temp)
– 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
– 1 Tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions:

Prep:

1. Remove cold ingredients from the fridge and allow to come to room temperature. Start this 30-60 minutes before the beginning the recipe.

2. Place your trivet with handles and 1 1/2 cups of water in the pressure cooker.

3. Prepare a 6 inch springform pan. Line the bottom and sides with parchment paper.

To make the crust:

1. Combine melted butter and erythritol in a small mixing bowl and stir well. Add almond flour and mix until it forms a dough.

2. Transfer dough to the cheesecake pan. Using a spoon or cup, press down firmly to create a flat smooth crust across the entire bottom.

3. Place pan in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.

To make the filling:

1. Add cream cheese and erythritol to a large mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat on low speed until well mixed, about 1 minute.

2. Add collagen, heavy cream, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Beat on low speed until smooth.

3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating on low speed until just combined. Dont overmix the eggs. About 30 seconds each.

4. Remove the chilled pan from the freezer and pour the batter over the crust. Be careful not to leave trapped air gaps. Smooth the top with a spatula.

To Cook and cool:

1. Make sure your water and trivet are in place (see prep). Lower the pan onto the trivet.

2. Secure and seal the pressure cooker lid. Cook for 30 minutes high pressure and let natural release for 15 minutes. Manually release any remaining pressure.

3. Carefully lift the lid and try to avoid dripping condensation on the cheesecake. The top of the cheesecake should be a little jiggly but not liquidy. If needed, use a paper towel to dab condensation from the top. Turn off your pressure cooker.

4. Let the cheesecake cool uncovered in the pressure cooker. After and hour, use the handle to lift it out and continue to cool on countertop.

5. After cooled, loosely cover with a paper towel and let refrigerate for 24 hours. Do not seal tightly as the cheesecake needs to dehydrate.

6. Carefully remove chilled cheesecake, slice and enjoy!

The heat won’t let up around here so we decided to go back to our favorite past time: recipe creation in the comfort of our air conditioned office 🙂 And you’ll be glad we did, this Collagen Berry Blast Smoothie Bowl combines all the essential berries you need for a blast of antioxidants along with the anti-inflammatory magic of the pomegranate. And since it’s from Organsiource, it also (of course), delivers the gut healing and revitalizing touch of collagen. Oh yeah, and it tastes AMAZING. Try it out and let us know what you think!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ cups frozen mixed berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries)
  • ¼ cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 scoop Organisource Collagen Peptides
  • ¼ coconut milk yogurt, plus additional for drizzling
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ½ peach, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. dried mulberries
  • 2 Tbsp. pumpkin seeds

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blend the frozen berries, collagen, pomegranate juice, and ¼ cup of the yogurt until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and top with the blueberries, peach, mulberries, pumpkin seeds, and a drizzle of yogurt.

Coconut Matcha Collagen Ice Cream

This Coconut Matcha Collagen Ice Cream turned out delicious and is absolutely beautiful to look at. It’s super creamy, dairy-free, and the coconut milk ice cream flavored with the pure, perfect flavor of matcha makes it taste out of this world. The cherry on top is the healing power of Organisource Collagen Peptides!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can of coconut milk (full fat) – chilled overnight in the fridge
  • 1/2 cup soy or almond milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup raw maple syrup
  • 2 scoops Organisource Collagen Peptides
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 4 tsp Organic Matcha Powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The day before, place coconut milk in the fridge. Place an ice cream maker container in the freezer as well as a container for the ice cream i.e. a small stainless steal or freezer-friendly bowl
  2. Open your chilled can of coconut milk. Scoop out the hardened cream part and add all of the cream to a blender. Pour most of the leftover watery liquid into the blender as well, but omit about 2-3 Tbsp of it.
  3. Add frozen banana, raw maple syrup, non-dairy milk, salt and Collagen Peptides. Cover with lid and blend from low to high until smooth.
  4. Add in 2 tsp matcha, blend. Add the next two tsp to taste
  5. Place your fully chilled container on the base of your ice cream maker. Turn on. Pour the matcha coconut liquid into the machine.
  6. Allow the machine to churn for about 20 minutes, or until the ice cream firms up and churns more slowly or not at all.
  7. Scoop the churned ice cream into your pre-chilled freezer-friendly bowl or container.
  8. Place the ice cream in the freezer to chill at least 30 minutes before scooping and serving. If storing overnight, cover ice cream and chill in freezer.
  9. When serving, be sure to allow at least ten minutes for the ice cream to warm and soften

Protein Packed Paleo Chocolate Donuts

The Paleo Gods recently shared this recipe for Paleo Donuts with us and we decided to give it a little Organisource twist. Behold one of our new favorite recipes of all time. Protein Packed Paleo Chocolate Donuts with our famous Bone Broth Protein Powder!

INGREDIENTS

Serves 12

Dry Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 eggs, at room temperature, whites and yolks separated

Glaze Ingredients

  • ½ cup very dark chocolate (our favorite: Pure Chocolate)
  • ¼ cup unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 Tablespoons coconut oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease your 6-mold donut pan with coconut oil.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. In another medium bowl combine all of the wet ingredients except egg whites.
  3. Mix the wet with dry and set aside.Beat the egg whites until firm peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter.
  4. Equally distribute the batter between the 6 donut molds. Smooth out the tops of each donut. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. Allow the donuts to cool, remove from pan and then chill in the fridge for half an hour.
  6. For the Glaze: Fill a medium skillet with a few inches of water and place over medium-low heat. Place the glaze ingredients in a small saucepan and put the saucepan inside the skillet. Gently mix the ingredients until fully melted.
  7. Pour the melted chocolate into a shallow bowl. Dip each chilled donut in the chocolate, then immediately chill for 30 minutes until the glaze hardens.

This is no ordinary brownie batter.  It’s packed with some awesome stuff like our collagen peptides to keep your skin and gut on point and healthy antioxidants from the avocado, cacao and banana.

INGREDIENTS

Serves 12

  • 1 banana, peeled (frozen if you want a thick ice-cream like shake)
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 2 scoops Organisource Collagen Peptides
  • 3 tablespoons dark cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon raw maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup full-fat canned coconut milk
  • 3/4 cup water
  • Pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS
